The schools listed below are in alphabetical order, not by any other ranking. You can plan a trip here for a super combination of entertainment and golf instruction by the best in the world!

Additionally, each course has their own instructor available, but this listing does not include the specific instructors available at the individual golf courses. However, they have some of the best instructors in the country, and are an added bonus to your visit.

Five golf schools located either part time or full time in Southern Nevada are on the list of America's 25 top schools as chosen by Golf Magazine in its June issue., 2001. The Butch Harmon School of Golf at the Rio Secco Golf Club, the Resort Golf School at Angel Park and the John Jacobs Golf School at Stallion Mountain are located here full time. The Nicklaus/Flick Game Improvement school at Lake Las Vegas and the Dave Pelz Short Game School at Las Vegas National offer one-day clinics here.

A new school to Mesquite, at the Casa Blanca, they offer either one to one or two to one instruction with your own personal instructor. You receive private, individual instruction for the full 60 minutes of each hour. They also have 6 or 8 hour per day schools and you spend your entire time your assigned professional.

I called and talked to Bruce about his new school and feel he has the right ideas about a school here, and seems like a nice guy. The ratio of students is 4 for every instructor, with 20 hours of lessons, with computerized analysis. The last day of the three day school is a on the course playing lesson that will find out if you paid attention. Yes, they even have individual lessons available.

Butch has opened a golf school at the Rio Secco ( was Seven Hills ) Golf Club in Henderson. ( Course description in the private course section, Rio Secco ). The school opened in December 1997. Included in the staff will be his son, who was teaching at Desert Pines Golf Course , and British instructor Wayne Johnson. With a maximum of six students & three instructors per class, they will show you how to refine your golf game though focused individual attention and video computer equipment to evaluate each golfer’s personal swing. The teaching staff is directed by Cliff Lawson, who also oversees the John Jacobs Golf Schools, which operates at Stallion Mountain Country Club. The instruction staff utilizes the latest technology and learning aids such as video-swing analysis, Golf-Tech and A-Star teaching equipment. They specialize in helping students improve their scores while enhancing their enjoyment of the game. The Desert Pines Golf Center, has a 20,000-square-foot two-tiered tee complex that includes 58 climate-controlled tee stations, each with a computerized, automated ball-delivery system, and five target greens resembling some of the country’s most famous par-3, 17th holes (TPC Sawgrass, Pinehurst #2, Harbor Town Golf Links, Pebble Beach and Plum Creek).. One, two or three-day schools will be offered in addition to other lessons. Jacobs Golf Academy

The largest golf school in the world with 33 schools world-wide, was conducted at the Angel Park Golf Club until 1996. It has returned to Las Vegas via the Stallion Mountain Country Club and the Desert Pines Golf Course. The programs consist of 2, 3, & 5 day schools with 8-12 instructors per group depending on size.
