TPC Las Vegas

Located just minutes from the famous "Las Vegas Strip" in the beautiful master-planned community of Summerlin, TPC The Canyons is the only PGA TOUR facility in Las Vegas open to the public. In 1980, Bobby Weed--who began playing golf at age 10--began working under Pete and Alice Dye at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C. It was an assignment that would set his career in motion.

In 1982, he was named superintendent at the Dye-built TPC Sawgrass, and by '87 was named chief designer for PGA TOUR Design Services.

With the help of Ray Floyd, Weed cut a green swath through canyons and arroyos north of Las Vegas to create TPC The Canyons.

The Senior PGA Tour played the Las Vegas Senior Classic at the course for several years in the late 1990s. Desert elegance best describes the course that flows through the canyons and arroyos of northwest Las Vegas. The TPC at The Canyons was rated one of the top 50 courses for great service. Superb practice facilities are available and The Grille serves breakfast and lunch. The facility can also host corporate outings. TPC Canyons is a top end Las Vegas golf course.
